Come out and hang with us as we embark on another evening of fellowship and fresh collaboration. Musicians and performers of all stripes welcome!

After a DJ set from the legendary Aphrosoul, DC's own Collective Crew will take over the sonic waves to build structure and sound inspired by the moment. The floor opens up around 7:30 to anyone willing to share their art with us, from MCs, to spoken word artists, to instrumentalists, to dancers, eventually folding these disparate voices into a harmonic fabric as the night weaves on.

The style of music depends on who is playing, but generally hews along jazz-adjacent lines, with roots in R&B, hip-hop, funk, gogo, and neo-soul. (in other words, not a lot of straight-ahead, but tons of everything else). If you know, you know! Most importantly - ALL ARE WELCOME.

The session is hosted by members of the Co//ect!v Crew.
