Edmond Nassa & Khalid Thompson - “Transatlantic: Innermost Connections”

AoN March Artist in Residence are Edmond Nassa and Khalid Thompson

Exhibit on display from March 6th to April 3rd

The works of Edmond Nassa and Khalid Thompson evoke an ever evolving relationship  between post colonial Africa and the Diaspora. This exhibition explores the natural and  nuanced connections of cultural expression, attempting to expand the meaning of heritage  and identity into a more diverse context. Through color, form, and texture Edmond’s sculptures  and Khalid’s paintings express an energetic synergy, giving evidence to the power and depth of collective memory.
