AoN Collector Spotlight: Alieze Stallworth

Welcome to the kickoff of a new installment here at AoN that will highlight an evolving roster of long-time art collectors and community members and their latest passion projects. Each month we will feature someone new and get an intimate look at the work they’re doing in the community.

This month we would like to welcome our inaugural spotlight, Alieze Stallworth.

Here’s what she has to say about her work:

“My name is Alieze Harvey Stallworth. I am an art lover and collector. 

I use my Instagram page (@salieze_) to fulfill my divine purpose which is to support, highlight and elevate living artists from the African Diaspora. I conduct live conversations with artists to allow my followers to get to know them, get a glimpse into their backgrounds, and learn more about the artists’ work and creative processes. Additionally, I attend artist exhibitions locally and across the country to expose my followers to different genres of art/artists, share artists’ work, and encourage my followers to become more engaged in the art world. My ultimate goal is to increase the visibility and ownership of artwork from artists from the African Diaspora and to eventually have their work on display in the homes of more individuals from the diaspora as well”.
